Handyman invoice template
Small jobs are often invoiced from the van, on a phone, minutes after finishing. The faster that invoice goes out, the faster it gets paid.

Write the job in the client’s own words — “fixed leaking kitchen tap, replaced washer” — then the call-out fee, the hours and the parts. Clients rarely dispute a line they can picture.
What to put on a handyman invoice
- The job described as the client would describe it
- Call-out fee, first hour and additional hours
- Parts and fittings with quantity and price
- Whether the work is guaranteed, and for how long
- Payment methods you accept on site

Frequently asked
- Should a handyman charge a call-out fee?
- A call-out fee covers travel and the first assessment, and it is normal to waive it when the job proceeds. If you charge one, put it on its own line so the client sees it was not folded into the hourly rate.
- Is this invoice template free to use?
- Yes. Open the template, adjust the lines, download the PDF. There is no account, no email gate and no per-invoice charge.
- Will my client see that I used a template?
- They will see a clean, standard invoice layout with your details, your lines and your totals. The only footer line mentions where the PDF was generated, below the invoice content.
